Step 3. Use a pair of pliers to squeeze the retaining clamp on the drain hose at the back of your machine and slide it out of place. Pull the drain hose off your machine.

Step 4. To secure the lid of your machine, put some tape on it. Tilt your washing machine backwards carefully and set it on the floor (get someone to help you if needed).

Step 5. Unplug the wire connector attached to the shift acutator at the bottom of your washer.
