1. Clean Soap Drawer
Here are the steps you’ll need to take to clean the soap drawer in your Bosch washing machine…
Step 1. Slide the detergent tray out as much as you can, then press the tab inside to release it from the dispenser completely.
Step 2. Take the soap tray to a sink, then use a brush to clean out any detergent that may have built-up in it.
Step 3. Rinse the tray thoroughly, then slide it back into the dispenser. To ensure that the problem has been fixed, try running a wash cycle.
2. Clean Dispenser Hose
Take the following steps to replace the dispenser hose in your Bosch washing machine…
Step 1. In order to prevent electrical damage and water leaks, ensure that your machine is unplugged from the outlet and the water supply faucet is turned off before starting this repair.
Step 2. Using a Torx screwdriver, remove the screws at the back of the machine holding the top panel to the cabinet. Pull the panel backwards a few inches, then lift it off the machine.
Step 3. Slide the soap tray out as far as you can, then press the tab to release it from the housing.
Step 4. Use your Torx screwdriver to take out all the bolts holding the control panel to the front of the cabinet.
Step 5. Pry the panel off the front of the machine (if needed, use a flat-blade screwdriver).
Step 6. Note the positioning of the electrical connectors attached to the control board, then disconnect each one. Set the control panel aside.
Step 7. Move the detergent dispenser out of place. With a pair of pliers, squeeze the clamp holding the dispenser hose to the tub, then slide it out of place.
Step 8. Take the dispenser and hose assembly out of the cabinet. Release the clamp on the other end of the hose, then slide it out of place.
Step 9. Take the dispenser hose to a sink, then use a screwdriver to clean out any thing that may have clogged it. You should also take this time to clean the detergent dispenser.
Step 10. Reconnect the hose to the dispenser, then secure it with the retaining clamp. Reattach the other end of the hose to the tub assembly, then slide the spring clamp into place to secure it.
Step 11. Plug each wire connector into its appropriate terminal on the control board. Snap the panel onto the front of the cabinet, then apply all the screws using your Torx screwdriver.
Step 12. Slide the soap tray into the dispenser. Place the top panel on the cabinet, then use your Torx screwdriver to apply the bolts at the back.
Step 13. Turn your machine’s water supply faucet back on, then plug the power cord into the electrical outlet. To ensure that the problem has been fixed, try running a cycle.
