1. Damaged Power Cord

Step 6. Pass the connectors of the new power cord through the opening on the cabinet, then snap the retainer into place.

Step 7. Plug the new power cord wires to the fuses and plug in the grounding wire as well.

Step 8. Place the top panel back onto the cabinet, then apply the screws at the back using your Torx screwdriver.

Step 9. Plug your machine back into the electrical outlet, then try turning the appliance on to see if the issue has been fixed.

2. Faulty Electrical Outlet

To determine if your washing machine’s electrical outlet is damaged, unplug the washer’s power cord and try plugging another appliance in.
