1. Drive Belt

3. Drive Pulley
The drive pulley is mounted at the back of your washing machine. This part turns the tub when the drive belt rotates. If it gets damaged, a noise will be emitted whenever the drum turns. Here’s how to replace drive pulley on your washing machine…
Step 1. Ensure that you turn off your washing machine’s water supply and unplug the power cord before attempting any repairs in order to prevent any chances of water leakage and electrocution.
Step 2. Use a Philips screwdriver to take out the screws at the back of your washing machine holding the rear panel. Pull the panel off the washing machine and set it aside.
Step 3. Carefully rotate the drum and pull the drive belt off the drive pulley and set it aside. Use a 15/16 inch socket wrench to take out the nut at the back of the tub securing the drive pulley.
Step 4. Carefully pull the drive pulley off the tub and set it aside. Take your new drive pulley out of its packaging and install it onto the shaft at the back of the tub. Apply the bolt with your 15/16 inch socket wrench to secure the new drive pulley.
Step 5. Carefully fit the drive belt around the drive pulley and motor shaft. Put the rear panel of your washing machine back on and apply the screws with your Philips screwdriver to secure it.
Step 6. Turn on your washing machine’s water supply and plug the power cord back in. To make sure the issue has been fixed, try running a spin cycle.
4. Tub Bearing
