3. Motor Control Board Fault
Before rushing to replace the motor control board, you should ensure that the electrical connectors are properly plugged in. Here’s how to do this…
Step 1. Disconnect your washing machine’s power cord from the outlet before starting this repair in order to prevent electrical damage.
Step 2. Use your screwdriver to take out the nuts holding the retainer to the drain hose. Take the retainer off the drain hose, then set it aside.
Step 3. Remove the screws holding the top panel to the machine. Pull the panel backwards about an inch or so, then lift it off the cabinet. Set the top panel aside.
Step 4. Use your Philips screwdriver to take out the bolts holding the vibration dampening block to the top of the tub. Carefully lift the block out of the machine and set it aside.

2. Failed Pump Assembly
If your Electrolux washing machine still doesn’t drain after cleaning the pump filter, you should check the pump itself and ensure that the wire connectors are properly connected. Here’s how to do this…
Step 1. Ensure that your washing machine’s power cord is disconnected from the outlet before starting this procedure in order to prevent electrocution.
Step 2. Remove the bolts at the back of the machine holding the top panel to the cabinet. Lift the top panel off the machine and set it aside.
Step 3. Open the door of your washer. Using a pair of needle-nosed pliers, pry the metal band off the door boot seal (ensure that you do not accidentally puncture the gasket).
Step 4. Peel the door boot seal off the front panel. Carefully tip your washing machine backwards and place a wooden block under the front panel to support it (have someone assist you if needed).

Step 11. Use your Philips screwdriver to apply the screws at the top of the control panel, and the screws next to the detergent dispenser opening.
Step 12. Tip your washing machine backwards carefully, then place a support under the front. Using your Philips screwdriver, apply the four screws at the bottom of the panel.
Step 13. Take the support out from underneath the appliance and set the machine on its feet.
Step 14. Slide the soap tray into the detergent dispenser. Place the top panel on the cabinet, then apply the screws at the back using your Philips screwdriver.
Step 15. Open your washing machine’s door and carefully fit the door gasket back around the front panel. Using your needle-nosed pliers (or a flat-blade screwdriver), fit the retaining band around the door boot seal.
Step 16. Plug your washing machine’s power cord back into the electrical outlet, then try running a cycle to make sure the problem has been fixed.
