Step 18. Carefully pull the drive belt off the motor pulley and drive pulley. Loosen the 13mm bolts holding the drive pulley to the mounts at the bottom of the tub.
Step 19. Carefully lift the motor off the tub mounts. Unplug each wire connector from the motor assembly (note where each plug goes).
Step 20. Reach into the cabinet, then release the pressure chamber from the retainer at the side of the tub using pliers.
Step 21. From the front of the machine, loosen the screws securing the heating element wire retainer to the tub.
Step 22. With a 13mm socket wrench, remove the bolts holding the shock absorbers to the bottom of the tub. Pull each shock absorber out of the tub.
Step 23. Lift the two suspension springs at the top of the drum off the cabinet mounts (get someone to assist you if needed).
Step 24. Guide the tub assembly out of the cabinet. Unhook the springs from the tub, then set them aside.
Step 25. Set the tub assembly facing upwards. Using a flat-blade screwdriver, carefully pry off the inner retaining wire securing the door boot seal to the drum. Pry the door seal off the drum opening.
Step 26. Turn the tub assembly over and set it on the floor. Using your socket wrench, loosen the bolt holding the drive pulley to the inner tub shaft. Slide the tub off the shaft and set it aside.
Step 27. With your Torx screwdriver, loosen all the bolts holding the two halves of the outer tub together. Carefully pry the front half of the outer tub off the assembly and set it aside.
Step 28. Turn the rear half of the tub assembly over. Using a mallet, carefully knock the inner tub shaft out of the rear half of the outer tub. Set the rear half of the tub aside.
Step 29. Prepare the new outer tub assembly for installation by unpacking it. Set the inner tub face-down on the floor.
Step 30. Carefully lower the rear half of the outer tub onto the inner tub shaft. Slide the drive pulley onto the inner tub shaft. Secure the pulley by tightening the bolt with your socket wrench.
Step 31. Turn the tub assembly over and set it on the floor. Using a flat-blade screwdriver, carefully fit the new provided seal into the groove of the rear half of the outer tub.
Step 32. Lower the front half of the outer tub onto the tub assembly. Secure the two halves of the outer tub by tightening the Torx-20 screws.
Step 33. Fit the door boot seal around the drum opening. With a flat-blade screwdriver, carefully fit the inner retaining wire around the door boot seal.
Step 34. Lift the tub assembly upright. Hook the suspension springs onto the tub mounts. Get someone to help you lift the tub assembly and guide it into the cabinet.
Step 35. Hook the suspension springs onto the slots on the cabinet. Push each shock absorber into its mount at the bottom of the tub. Secure the shock absorbers by tightening the 13mm bolts.
Step 36. Snap the pressure chamber into the retainer at the side of the tub. Carefully remount the drive motor at the bottom of the tub. Secure the motor by applying the 13mm bolts.
Step 37. Loop the drive belt around the motor pulley and drive pulley (ensure that the grooved side faces inwards).
Step 38. Snap the rear access plate onto the cabinet, then tighten the Torx-20 screws to secure it.
Step 39. Go to the front of the machine. Slide the heating element into the housing at the lower side of the tub. Secure the heating element by tightening the 10mm bolt.
Step 40. Plug each wire connector into its appropriate terminal on the heating element. Apply the nut to secure the heating element wire retainer to the front of the tub.
Step 41. Connect the sump hose to the port at the bottom of the tub. Secure the hose by tightening the screw-clamp with your Torx screwdriver.
Step 42. Carefully move the dispenser assembly back into place. Connect the dispenser’s outlet hose to the port at the top of the drum. Secure the hose by sliding the retaining clamp into place.
Step 43. Mount the front and upper weights on the drum, then tighten the 13mm bolts to secure them. Place the support rail under the dispenser housing.
Step 44. Lift the front panel, then carefully mount it on the machine. Secure the front panel by tightening the Torx screws at the top and bottom.
Step 45. Snap the lower access panel onto the front of the machine. Open the door of your appliance.
Step 46. Reach in behind the front panel, then push the door switch into place. Tighten the Torx screws on the front panel to secure the door switch.
Step 47. Fit the door gasket around the lip of the front panel. With a flat-blade screwdriver, fit the outer retaining wire around the door boot seal.
Step 48. Plug each wire connector into its corresponding terminal on the control panel. Apply the Torx screws at the sides of the panel.
Step 49. Push the detergent tray into the dispenser. Mount the top cover on the cabinet and slide it into place. Apply the nuts at the back to secure the panel.
Step 50. Connect the COLD and HOT water inlet hoses to the appropriate ports at the back of the machine.

Step 1. Ensure that your washing machine is unplugged from the power outlet before starting this procedure in order to prevent electrocution.
Step 2. Turn the water taps off to avoid any leaks. Using a pair of pliers if needed, disconnect the COLD and HOT water supply hoses from the ports at the back of the machine.
Step 3. Using a Torx-20 screwdriver, take out the nuts at the back of the machine holding the top cover. Pull the cover backwards a few inches, then lift it off the machine.
Step 4. Go to the front of the appliance, then pry the lower access panel off. Slide the soap tray out. Release the tray from the housing by pressing the little button inside.
Step 5. Set the soap tray aside. Using your screwdriver, loosen the Torx screws at the sides of the control panel.
Step 6. Carefully pry the control panel off the front of the machine (if needed, use a flat-blade screwdriver). Unplug each wire connector attached to the control panel (make sure to note where each plug goes).

Step 14. Using your screwdriver, loosen the screw holding the heating element wire retainer to the lower front of the machine.
Step 15. Unplug each wire connector from the heating element at the lower front of the tub (ensure that you take note of where each connector goes).
Step 16. Use a 10mm socket wrench to remove the bolt holding the heating element to the housing. Pry the heating element out (if needed, use a flat-blade screwdriver).
Step 17. Reach under the tub, then loosen the screw-clamp securing the sump hose to the drum. Pull the hose off the drum (make sure to keep a towel nearby in case water spills).
Step 18. Go to the back of the cabinet. With your screwdriver, loosen the nuts holding the rear access panel. Lift the panel off the cabinet and set it aside.

Step 26. Pry the door boot seal off the drum opening. Using your Torx screwdriver, take out the nuts holding the two halves of the outer tub together.
Step 27. Carefully pry the front half of the outer tub off the assembly and set it aside. Turn the tub assembly over and set it face-down on the floor.
Step 28. With a 13mm socket wrench, remove the bolt holding the drive pulley to the inner tub shaft at the back of the tub. Slide the pulley off the shaft and set it aside.
Step 29. Lift the rear half of the outer tub off the inner tub shaft (if this is difficult, apply some penetrating oil to the shaft).
Step 30. Turn the rear half of the outer tub over. Using a flat-blade screwdriver, carefully pry out the bearing seal inside the tub. Discard the old seal, then prepare the new one for installation by unpacking it.
Step 31. Carefully push the new bearing seal into place above the inner bearing. Once the new seal is in place, lift the rear half of the outer tub and lower it onto the inner tub shaft.
Step 32. Slide the drive pulley onto the inner tub shaft, then tighten the 13mm bolt to secure it.
Step 33. Turn the tub assembly over. Carefully lower the front half of the outer tub onto the assembly. Secure the two halves of the tub by tightening the Torx screws.
Step 34. Fit the door boot seal around the drum opening. Use your flat-blade screwdriver to fit the inner retaining band around the door boot seal.
Step 35. Lift the tub assembly upright, then attach the suspension springs to the mounts.
Step 36. With someone assisting you, carefully lift the tub assembly and guide it back into the cabinet. Hook each spring onto the cabinet (get someone to assist you if needed).
Step 37. Push each shock absorber into its mount at the bottom of the tub. Secure the shock absorbers by tightening the 13mm bolts.
Step 38. Snap the air chamber into the retainer at the side of the tub. Carefully mount the drive motor at the bottom of the tub. Secure the motor by applying the 13mm nuts.
Step 39. Plug the wire connector into the terminal on the drive motor. With the grooved side turned inwards, loop the drive belt around the drive pulley and motor pulley.
Step 40. Snap the rear access panel onto the cabinet, then apply the Torx-20 screws to secure it.
Step 41. Go to the front of the machine, then slide the heating element into the housing at the bottom of the tub.
Step 42. Secure the heating element by tightening the 10mm bolt. Plug each connector into its corresponding terminal on the heating element.
Step 43. Secure the heating element wire retainer to the lower front of the tub by applying the Torx screw.
Step 44. Reconnect the sump hose to the port at the bottom of the tub. Secure the hose by tightening the screw-clamp with your Torx screwdriver.
Step 45. Move the detergent dispenser back into place. Reconnect the dispenser’s outlet hose to the port at the top of the drum. Secure the hose by sliding the spring clamp into place.
Step 46. Lift the front and upper weights, then remount them on the drum. Secure the weights by tightening the 13mm bolts.
Step 47. Place the support bar back underneath the dispenser housing. Lift the front panel, then snap it onto the machine. Tighten the Torx screws at the top and bottom to secure the panel.
Step 48. Open the door of your washing machine. Reach in behind the front panel, then push the door lock into place. Secure the door lock to the front panel by applying the Torx screws.
Step 49. Carefully fit the door boot seal around the lip of the front panel. Using a flat-blade screwdriver, carefully fit the outer retaining wire around the door seal.
Step 50. Snap the lower front access panel onto the cabinet. Plug each wire connector into its appropriate terminal on the control panel.
Step 51. Snap the control panel onto the front of the machine. Secure the panel by tightening the Torx screws at the sides.
Step 52. Slide the soap tray into the dispenser housing. Place the top cover on the cabinet, then slide it into place.
Step 53. Secure the top panel by tightening the Torx 20 screws at the back. Reconnect the HOT and COLD water hoses to the corresponding ports at the back of the machine (make sure to keep a rag nearby in case water leaks).
Step 54. Plug your washing machine into the electrical outlet, then turn the water faucets back on. Find out if the issue has been fixed by running a wash cycle.
