Step 6. Carefully lift the motor off the machine. Pull the coupler cog and isolator off the gear case drive shaft. Use a screwdriver to pry the second coupler cog off the motor.

Step 7. Discard the coupler pieces and take the new kit out of its packaging. Push one of the new cogs as far as possible onto the gear case drive shaft. Push the new isolator piece into place directly above it.

Step 8. Push the second coupler cog onto the motor. Lift the motor assembly and carefully slide it into place.

Step 9. Put the two retainer clips back onto the motor and apply the screws to secure them. Plug the wire harness into the motor assembly.

Step 10. Mount the drain pump onto the motor and secure it by snapping the two retaining clips into place.

Step 11. Lift the cabinet and put it back onto the washer. Use your flat-blade screwdriver to push the two spring clips back into the holes on the cabinet. Plug the wire connector back to the top of the cabinet.

Step 12. Lift the control panel and snap it back into the cabinet. Apply the screws using your screwdriver.

Step 13. Plug your washing machine back into its electrical outlet and try running a wash cycle to ensure that the issue has been fixed.
