Step 22. Align the base frame onto the outer tub and clutch assembly apply the mounting bolts to secure it. Secure the overflow tube to the base frame leg with a zip-tie.

Step 23. Apply the hex bolts on the base frame to secure the new clutch assembly. Put the drive pulley back onto the tub and apply the bolt to secure it. Fit the drive belt back around the pulley and motor shaft (make sure the grooved part of the belt faces downwards).

Step 24. Lift the tub assembly back into the cabinet. Pull the tub upwards slightly and snap the four suspension rods into place. Connect the air pressure tube to back to the port at the side of the tub.

Step 25. Connect the drain outlet hose back to the port at the bottom of the tub. Slide the retaining clamp in place to secure the hose.

Step 26. Twist the motor wires around the suspension rod. Connect each electrical connector to its appropriate terminal on the motor assembly. Connect the grounding wire to the motor and apply the nut to secure it. Snap the wire retainers into the holes on the motor assembly.

Step 27. Push the washer nut and split ring onto the drive shaft. Lower the inner tub assembly onto the shaft and apply the tub nut to secure it. Put the washer nut onto the agitator shaft and put the agitator back inside your washing machine. Apply the bolt to secure the agitator.

Step 28. Put the dispenser cup back onto the agitator and rotate it to secure. Snap the tub cover onto the tub assembly. Hook the shock dampening straps onto the tub cover and apply the screws to secure them.

Step 29. Put the control panel bracket back into place and apply the mounting screws to secure it. Connect the air pressure tube back to the water level sensor.

Step 30. Put the control panel trim and rear cover back on and apply the screws to secure them.

Step 31. Insert the lid lock through the opening on the main top panel and snap it in place. Secure the lid lock wire in the retainer. Slide the top panel back into place and apply the screws at the front with your Philips screwdriver to secure.

Step 21. Slide a 12mm wrench over the pointed end of the pin holding the shock absorber to the tub. Use a pair of pliers to pull the pin out from the other end. Pull the shock absorber off the tub and lay it on the floor of the cabinet. Go to the front of your washer and repeat this process with the two front shock absorbers.

Step 22. Use your Philips screwdriver to loosen the screw clamp holding the vent hose to the top of the tub assembly. Pull the vent hose off.

Step 23. Use your screwdriver to take out the two screws on the metal cross-piece attached to the steam box. Pull the steam box sideways to release the locking tabs. Push the steam box out of place.

Step 24. Using a Philips screwdriver, loosen the screw clamp on the soap dispenser hose attached to the drum. Pull the hose off.

Step 25. Disconnect the little tube attached to the top of the drum. Use a flat-blade screwdriver to pry out the clips on each side of the cabinet securing the suspension springs.

Step 26. Carefully lift each suspension spring and lower the tub onto the floor of the cabinet. Carefully pull the tub assembly through the front of your washing machine.

Step 27. Turn the tub assembly so it faces upwards and lay it on two wooden supports. Use a 10mm socket wrench to take out the bolts holding the two halves of the tub together.

Step 28. Pull the front half of the outer tub off the tub assembly and set it aside (be careful not to damaged the heating element). carefully lift the inner tub out of the tub assembly and set it aside.

Step 29. Use a drift and a mallet to knock the outer bearing out of the tub. Use a flat-blade screwdriver to pry out the bearing seal. Turn the tub upside-down and lay it on the supports. Use your mallet and drift once more to knock the inner bearing out.

Step 30. Clean any dirt that may be in the bearing housing. Take your new bearing kit out of its packaging. Apply some liquid soap to the new outer bearing and place it on the opening. Use your mallet to evenly tap the new bearing into place.

Step 31. Turn the tub over once more and use your mallet to knock the new inner bearing into place. Push the new bearing seal into place. Carefully lower the inner drum assembly onto the bottom half of the outer tub.

Step 32. Inspect the seal around the lower half of the outer tub. If you notice any damage, you’ll need to replace it (we actually recommend replacing it any time you split the drum).

Step 33. Place the top half of the outer drum back onto the the tub assembly and apply the 10mm bolts to secure the two halves.

Step 34. Carefully lift the tub assembly back into the cabinet. Hook the two suspension springs to the tub. Lift the springs and hook them onto the cabinet. Put the clamps back onto the springs and apply the screws with your Philips screwdriver to secure them.

Step 35. Connect each hose to its appropriate port on the tub assembly and tighten the screw clamps with a Philips screwdriver. Slide the steam box back into place and apply the screws on the cross-piece to secure it.

Step 36. Put the top and bottom counter-weights back onto the front of your washing machine and apply the bolts to secure them.

Step 37. Connect the inlet tubes to the ports on the door bellows and secure them with the retaining clamps. Insert the front shock absorbers into the mounts on the tub and push the locking pins into place. Repeat this process for the rear shock absorber.

Step 38. Connect the electrical connectors back to the heating element and secure the grounding wire with the bolt. Secure the wires to the bottom of the tub with a zip-tie.

Step 39. Connect the tub-to-pump hose back to the tub and apply the tighten the screw clamp to secure it. Push the air dome back in place and apply the retaining screw.

Step 40. Connect the electrical connectors to the drive motor stator. Place the motor stator on the back of the drum and apply the six 10mm bolts to secure it.

Step 41. Put the wire harness retainers back onto the drum and secure the grounding screw. Put the rotor assembly back onto the drive motor stator and apply the mounting bolt to secure it.

Step 42. Snap the rear access panel of your washing machine back on and apply the screws with your Philips screwdriver to secure it.

Step 43. Go to the front of your washing machine. Connect each electrical connector to its appropriate terminal on the control board. Snap the control panel onto the front of the washing machine and apply the two screws beside the detergent drawer housing and the single screw at the back of the control panel.

Step 44. Slide the detergent drawer back into place. Place the top panel back onto the washing machine and apply the screws at the back with a Philips screwdriver.

Step 45. Snap the front panel of your washing machine back into place and apply all the screws to secure it. Open the door of your washing machine. Push the door lock back into place and apply the two screws with your Philips screwdriver to secure it. Fit the door boot seal back around the door opening.

Step 46. Use a flat-blade screwdriver to fit the retaining band around the door boot seal. Close the door of your washing machine.

Step 47. Put the drain pump filter housing back into place and apply the screw to secure it. Put the filter housing cover back on.

Step 48. Connect the COLD and HOT water supply hoses back to the inlet ports at the back of your washing machine (secure the connections properly to avoid water leaks).

Step 49. Plug your washing machine’s power cord back into the power supply and turn the water valve back on. Try running a spin cycle to see if the issue has been fixed.

Step 7. Peel the door boot seal away from the door opening (be careful not to damaged the door seal). Using your Philips screwdriver, take out the two screws holding the door lock assembly to the cabinet. Reach inside the machine and pull the door lock out of place.

Step 8. Close your washing machine’s door. Use your screwdriver to take out the four screws at the top of the front panel. Lift the front panel off your washing machine and set it aside. Place a container under the emergency drain hose. Pull the cap off and drain out any water stuck in the machine.
