Step 4. Take out the screws holding the vibration dampener to the top of the machine. Lift the vibration damper block off the tub and set it aside.
Step 5. Disconnect the power cord’s wire connector, then detach the grounding wire. Use needle-nosed pliers to release the wire retainer from the cabinet.
Step 6. With your Philips screwdriver, loosen the nut holding the drain hose retainer to the back of the machine. Take out the screws holding the mounting bracket to the rear panel.
Step 7. Use your screwdriver to remove the nuts holding the rear access panel to the cabinet and motor control board. Lift the rear panel off the cabinet and set it aside.
Step 8. Slide the soap tray out of the dispenser, then press the button inside to completely release it from the housing.
Step 9. Take the soap tray to a sink, then thoroughly rinse off any detergent that may have accumulated in it.
Step 10. With your screwdriver, loosen the bolts next to the dispenser opening. Use your Philips screwdriver to loosen the screw-clamp holding the outlet hose to the dispenser assembly.
Step 11. Pull the hose off the dispenser port. Disconnect the wire connectors attached to the water inlet valve (make sure to take note of where each connector goes).
Step 12. Use your Philips screwdriver to loosen the bolts holding the dispenser to the support bracket.
Step 13. Using pliers, release the clamp holding the air vent hose to the dispenser, then slide it out of place.
Step 14. Take out the screws holding the inlet valve to the dispenser assembly. Take the valve off the dispenser.
Step 15. Take the soap dispenser to a sink and thoroughly clean out any accumulated detergent (use a soft brush if needed).
Step 16. Once you’ve thoroughly cleaned and dried the dispenser, reattach the water inlet valve and apply the screws to secure it.
Step 17. Push the dispenser assembly back into place on the cabinet. Attach the vent hose to the dispenser port, then secure it with the spring clamp.
Step 18. Secure the dispenser assembly to the support rail by applying the nuts with your Philips screwdriver.
Step 19. Reconnect the outlet hose to the port at the bottom of the dispenser, then tighten the screw-clamp to secure it.
Step 20. Plug each wire connector into the appropriate terminals on the water inlet valve. Use your screwdriver to apply the nuts on the control panel next to the dispenser opening.
Step 21. Slide the detergent tray into the dispenser. Lift the rear access panel and mount it back onto the cabinet.
Step 22. Secure the rear panel to the cabinet and motor control board by applying the nuts with your Philips screwdriver.
Step 23. Place the retainer on the drain hose, then apply, the screw to secure it. Place the support bracket on the rear panel, then secure it with the bolts.
Step 24. Plug the power cord’s wire connector and grounding wire back in. Snap the wire retainer into place.
Step 25. Remount the vibration damper onto the tub, then use your Philips screwdriver to apply the bolts.
Step 26. Slide the top cover onto the cabinet. Secure the top by applying the bolts at the back with your Philips screwdriver.
Step 27. Reattach the HOT and COLD water supply hoses to the ports at the back of your machine (ensure that the hoses are secured properly in order to prevent water leaks).
Step 28. Reconnect the washer’s power cord to the outlet, then turn the water faucets back on. To make sure that everything works properly, try running a wash cycle.
