Do the following to connect your LG washing machine to your smartphone…
Step 1. Open your smartphone and go to the app store.
Step 2. Download the LG Smart ThinQ app from the store.
Step 3. Once the download is completed, launch the app and follow the promptings on the screen to create an account.
Step 4. Once you have created your account, turn your washing machine on.
Step 5. Click on the + button on the app to add a new device.
Step 6. From the app , select the type of washing machine you have.
Step 7. Hold the Wi-Fi button on your washing machine for three seconds until you see the Wi-Fi indicator light up.
Step 8. Press Next on the application.
Step 9. Go to Settings on your phone and click on the Wi-Fi section.
Step 10. Select your washing machine from the list of devices (the password will be the last four characters of the device’s name).
