Step 23. Use a 10mm socket wrench to take out the nuts securing the stator to the tub shaft. Lift the stator off the tub.

Step 24. Detach the two wires connected to the stator (ensure that you take note of where each plug goes).

Step 25. Push the 13mm socket onto the pointed end of the upper rear shock absorber mounting pin. Pull the pin out using pliers. Detach the shock absorber from the bottom of the tub. Repeat this process with the front shocks.

Step 26. Using a flat-blade screwdriver if needed, pry the suspension spring retainers off the cabinet.

Step 27. Carefully lift the springs, then unhook them from the cabinet. Guide the tub assembly out of the cabinet.

Step 28. Unhook the two springs from the tub. Set the tub assembly on two supports facing upwards.

Step 29. Using your 10mm socket with an extension, take out the bolts securing the two halves of the outer tub together. Lift the front half of the outer tub off the assembly, then set it aside.

Step 30. Turn the tub assembly over so that the rear half of the outer tub rests on the supports. Apply some penetrating oil to the shaft at the back of the tub, then let it sit for a while.

Step 31. Using a mallet, carefully knock the inner tub shaft out of the rear half of the outer tub.

Step 32. Move the inner tub aside. Turn the rear half of the outer tub upright. Pry the bearing seal out of the rear half of the outer tub using a flat-blade screwdriver.

Step 33. Apply some penetrating oil to the bearings in the tub. Using a hammer and a punch, knock the outer bearing out of the tub.

Step 34. Turn the tub assembly over. Use the punch and hammer to knock the inner bearing out of the tub. Using a soft brush, clean the bearing housing thoroughly.

Step 35. Prepare the new bearing kit for installation by unpacking it. Apply some liquid soap to the new bearings.

Step 36. Place the new outer bearing on tub, then knock it into the housing using a hammer (ensure that the bearing sits evenly).

Step 37. Turn the tub over, then use your hammer to knock the new inner bearing into the seat. Apply some soap to the new bearing seal.

Step 38. Firmly push the new seal into place above the inner bearing. Lower the inner tub into the rear half of the outer tub.

Step 40. Carefully lower the front half of the outer tub onto the assembly. Secure the two halves of the tub by tightening the 10mm bolts.
