Step 1. Pull out your washing machine’s soap drawer and press the blue tab at the center to take it out completely.
Step 2. Take the soap dispenser to a sink and use some hot, soapy water to clean it. Dip a sponge in some soapy water and clean the detergent drawer housing. Once you’ve cleaned it properly, put the soap dispenser back in place.
Step 3. Pour about two cups of white vinegar into your washing machine’s soap drawer (the vinegar will help kill mould). Turn on your washing machine’s water and power supply, then run a wash cycle at the highest water temperature (ensure that there are no clothes in your washing machine).
Step 4. Once the wash cycle is completed, run a wash cycle to dry the tub. When the spin cycle is completed, open the door of your washing machine and use a cloth to thoroughly clean the grooves in the door seal.
Step 5. Leave the washing machine’s door and soap drawer open for a few hours. This will help your appliance air out.
