Step 1. Remove all protective packaging from the washing machine.
Step 2. Move your washing machine to the desired location. It is advised that you put your washer on a firm and even surface in a well ventilated environment.
Step 3. Remove all accessories from inside the washer’s drum.
Step 4. Remove all the transit bolts at the back of the washing machine using the provided spanner in the drum.
Step 5. Place the provided hole caps into each of the transit bolt holes at the back of the washing machine.
Step 6. Tilt the washing machine back and forth a bit to ensure that the legs are balanced. You can also use a spirit level tool to help you. If one or more of the washer’s legs aren’t balanced, adjust them as needed with the provided spanner.
Step 7. Connect the provided water inlet hose to your water supply.
Step 8. Connect the hose to the water inlet port at the back of the washing machine (ensure that all connections are secure in order to prevent water leakage).

Do the following to replace the drain pump on your LG washing machine…
Step 1. Turn off your washing machine’s water and power supply to avoid electrocution and water leakage.
Step 2. Using a Philips screwdriver, remove the two screws at the back of the washer holding the top panel.
Step 3. With the screw removed, slide the top panel back a bit and lift it off the washing machine.
