Step 5. Lift the panel up a bit and pull it out of place.

Step 8. You will find three holes around the motor. Line them up so that one of them sits at six o’clock.
Step 9. Insert the small flat-headed screwdriver into the hole at the top right and jam the rotor.
Step 10. To remove the bolt holding the cap, use the socket wrench while jamming the rotor at the same time. This will make it a lot easier for you to remove the bolt.
Step 11. Once the bolt is taken out, pull the metal covering out.
Step 12. Disconnect the two wire harnesses connected to the drive motor.
Step 13. Switch the cap on your socket wrench with the 10mm cap.
Step 14. Using the wrench, remove the six bolts holding the drive motor to the washing machine’s tub.
Step 15. Pull the drive motor from the washing machine’s tub.
Step 16. Take your new drive motor out of its pack.
Step 17. Place the new drive motor in the same position as the one you removed.
Step 18. Screw the drive motor in place by applying the six bolts (turn clockwise with the wrench to secure).
Step 19. Connect the each wire harness to it’s appropriate port on the drive motor.
Step 20. Put the metal panel in place over the drive motor.
Step 21. Switch the 10mm cap on your socket wrench to the 19mm cap.
Step 22. Take the 19mm cap and apply a bit of thread locking solution around it.
Step 23. Jam the rotor once again with the screwdriver and screw the bolt in with the wrench.

Step 25. Use your Philips screwdriver to screw it in.
