Step 2. Go to the back of the machine, then loosen the bolts holding the top panel to the cabinet using a Torx-20 screwdriver. Slide the panel backwards about an inch or so, then lift it off the cabinet.
Step 3. Slide the soap tray out of the dispenser, then press the little tab inside to release it from the housing.
Step 4. Open the door of your washing machine, then loosen the bolts holding the door lock to the front panel using a Torx screwdriver.

Step 9. If still intact, loosen the bolt on the inner retaining band holding the door boot seal using a 7mm socket wrench.
Step 10. Take the band off the seal and set it aside. Prepare your new retaining band for installation by taking it out off its packaging.
Step 11. Ensure that the door boot seal is properly fitted around the tub opening. Fit the new inner retaining wire around the door boot seal, then secure it by tightening the bolt with a 7mm socket.
Step 12. Tug the door boot seal firmly to ensure that it is properly connected. Lift the main front panel and mount it on the cabinet. Secure the panel by tightening the screws at the top and bottom.
Step 13. Snap the lower front access panel back onto the cabinet, then apply the bolts using your Torx screwdriver.
Step 14. Snap the control panel onto the cabinet. Secure the panel by applying the bolts next to the dispenser opening.
Step 15. Slide the soap tray back into the dispenser. Mount the top panel on the cabinet, then push it forwards. Secure the panel by tightening the screws at the back using a Torx screwdriver.
Step 16. Open the door of your washing machine, then push the door lock assembly back into place. Secure the door lock by applying the Torx screws.
Step 17. Refit the door boot seal around the front panel. Fit the outer retaining wire around the door boot seal using a flat-blade screwdriver.
Step 18. Plug your washing machine’s power cord back into the outlet, then ensure that the leakage has stopped by running a cycle.

Step 1. It is advised that you disconnect your washing machine from the outlet before starting this repair.
Step 2. Open your washing machine’s door. Loosen the screws holding the door hinge to the front panel using a Philips screwdriver. Carefully lift the door assembly off the cabinet.
Step 3. Set the door assembly on a flat work surface. Use a putty knife to pry the two halves of the door glass holder apart. Lift the inner half of the door glass holder off and set it aside.
Step 4. Using your putty knife, pry the door glass off the holder, then discard it. Take your new door glass out of its packaging.

Step 3. Loosen the bolts at the back of the machine holding the top panel to the cabinet. Pull the top panel forwards a bit, then lift and support it.
Step 4. Disconnect the wire harness from the lid lock at the bottom of the top panel. Get a digital multimeter, then turn the dial to the ohms setting.
Step 5. Place the probes of the multimeter on the first two terminals of the lid switch. If the lid switch tests negative for resistance, it needs to be replaced.
Step 6. If you’ve determined that the lid lock is in good condition, plug the wire connector back in.
Step 7. Snap the top panel back onto the cabinet, then apply the bolts at the back using your nut-driver.
Step 8. Peel the tape off the lid of your machine. Put the wiring and tube guard back in place, then apply the bolt. Plug your washing machine back into the outlet.
